NCD Metropolitan Superintendent Perou N’Dranou has revealed that 24 police officers in the NCD Command have been dismissed from the Police Force since January this year for disciplinary reasons.
In an interview with FM100 News today, Mr N’Dranou said the termination resulted from the complaints received from the public regarding the officers’ conduct.

The 24 were terminated from the 86 complaint cases received from the first six months of this year, 2019.

Mr N’Dranou, who has been critical on officers' conduct since taking the post, is urging the public to report officers who fail to follow proper police procedures, or are being unethical when handling police matters or are involved in corrupt practices.
N'dranou has also set up the Policing the Police initiative which is ongoing at this point in time.
The initiative was the establishment of the unit that deals with complaints against police within the NCD Command.
