Klynveld, Peat, Marwick, and Goerdeler PNG (KPMG PNG) in partnership with South Pacific Paints and Active Signs today officially presented the refurbished basketball courts to Badihagwa Secondary School in the National Capital District.

The repainting of the school’s basketball court is a joint education project where KPMG in partnership with South Pacific Paints and Active Signs took time out to provide community support to the school in upgrading their basketball court.

Herbert Maguma, KPMG Audit Partner says this painting project of the school’s basketball is an initiative of KPMG’s annual corporate citizenship program focused on supporting education within the local community.

Badihagwa School Principal Mr Maru Bala was delighted with the refreshed facilities saying the students are very excited about with the new look basketball courts which is very encouraging and motivates them to improve in their participation in sports.

KPMG donated office equipment supplies to Badihagwa early in March this year, and continues to support the school in upgrading the basketball court as a way of giving back to the community.
