"More than 90 Ialibu-Pangia students studying at the University of Goroka were about to withdraw from studies this semester when they were rescued by their local MP Peter O'Neill.
"Mr O'Neill paid K374, 000 last week for their school fees to keep them in school for the second semester.
" President of the UOG Ialibu-Pangia Students Association Hokison Simon, on behalf of the students, thanked the MP for his continuing investment in children's education in their district.
"Mr Simon said human resources is fundamental and vital compared to other natural and man-made resources.
"And seen leaders invest in human resources is commendable.
"Thi year is the fourth year for us to get assistance from our local MP," he said.
" Its not only UOG but all the Ialibu-Pangia students attending tertiary institutions around the country are getting assistance from him.
